IN CORDIS ENSEMBLE

In Cordis Ensemble was founded in 2008. In the field of historical performance practice the ensemble deals especially with music of the Renaissance and Baroque. The ICE members bring together their rich experience also from the international music scene and wholehearted and spontaneous musicianship.

The trio enjoys working with other musicians and singers as fits the demands of its thoroughly eclectic repertory, recently with leading performers of early music – Miloš Valent (violin) and Marek Štryncl (cello). In Cordis Ensemble regularly performs at the festivals in Czech Republic and Slovakia and in 2011 released its first recording Capriccietto galante – Roma 1639.
